What we do NOT remove

Hazardous waste requires special handling: mercury-containing lamps, liquid chemicals, paint residues, asbestos (e.g. eternit) and large quantities of tyres. If you have such waste, let us know and we'll help direct it to the right channel.

Time is Money: How to speed up the loading process?

If you want everything to go smoothly and logistics to work like clockwork, we recommend a simple "three-group logic". We don't require prep work, but simple sorting saves a lot of time.

Step 1

Large furniture first

Leave heavy bulky items (sofas, mattresses) accessible first. They are the foundation of every load.

Step 2

Small items in strong bags

Pack loose items into strong waste bags. Grabbing two bags is 10x faster than searching through piles.

Step 3

Appliances in one corner

Appliances are WEEE-stream resources requiring special handling. Keep cables and devices separate to save time at the waste station.

Waste classification

EWC 17Construction and demolition waste

Construction waste is not a uniform mass. GOLOG sorts and routes the following fractions for recycling:

  • Concrete, bricks and ceramics (17 01)Clean mineral waste that is crushed into reusable aggregate.
  • Wood (17 02 01)Untreated and unimpregnated wood routed into biomass production.
  • Gypsum-based materials (17 08 02)Plasterboard requires separate handling to prevent sulphate release in landfills.
  • Insulation materialsGlass wool and rock wool, handled dust-free and safely.

EWC 20Municipal and bulky waste

  • Mixed wasteHousehold junk, textiles and plastics from apartment clearances.
  • Bulky wasteMattresses, soft furniture and wardrobes routed to shredding and sorting.
  • Electronic waste (WEEE)Fridges, washing machines and TVs: removal of hazardous components is mandatory.
  • Why is licensed waste removal your safety guarantee?

According to the Waste Act of the Republic of Estonia, the waste holder is responsible for their waste until its official handover to a licensed handler.

    Waste permit JÄ/334804

GOLOG's licence ensures that responsibility for disposal transfers to us.

    Illegal dumping

Using unlicensed "cheap providers" puts you at risk of large fines as a property owner or housing association if the waste ends up in the forest.

    Disposal certificates

We issue official certificates of waste handover, required for closing construction permits.

From site to recycling: Our own sorting station

Transparency matters to us. We don't hand things off to middlemen — we operate our own modern sorting station at Silluse 1, where 100% official valorisation of waste takes place.

    1

    Sorting

We separate wood, metal, stone and plastic.

    2

    Valorisation

Clean wood goes to fuel, stone to road construction fill.

    3

    Recycling

Over 90% of construction materials collected by GOLOG find new life as raw material.

How to optimise waste removal costs on site?

    🧱

    Separate minerals

Keep concrete and brick separate from plasterboard and wood.

    📦

    Pack insulation safely

Use strong bags to prevent dust from spreading.

    🧩

    Tetris loading

Our team packs the load tightly so you don't pay for hauling air.
