GOLOG: how we work and where we're heading

GOLOG is a brand of Gologlogistic OÜ. We've been operating in Tallinn and Harju County since 2021. We started mainly with waste removal and transport, and since 2024 we've deliberately moved toward larger and more complex clearance jobs. Today we handle both smaller removals and larger clearance and logistics jobs.

Our story

  1. 2021

GOLOG starts operating in Tallinn and Harju County.

  2. 2024

We deliberately shift toward larger and more complex clearance and removal work.

  3. 2026

We're paying more attention to how we assess jobs before they start, how we explain pricing, how we collect customer feedback, and how we organise larger jobs more systematically.

  4. Next

Easier ordering, better continuity for repeat customers, and more recurring partnerships.

What problem we actually solve

A larger clearance or removal job usually leaves a customer unsure about several things at once: how much work is actually involved, what needs to be taken apart, whether access, a lift, parking or carrying distance will add extra work, what kinds of waste are on site, and what happens to it afterwards.

You don't need to already understand waste handling or logistics before contacting us. Our job is to make the work understandable before it starts: what we'll do, what that involves, and what the price is based on.

Transparent pricing

One of our main goals is to make pricing easier to understand. We don't want a customer to see one price and then find a completely different reality on the workday.

Photos and video help us estimate the job in advance. Floor, lift, access, parking, carrying distance, furniture that needs dismantling, and the type of waste can all affect the price. For larger or less clearly defined jobs, we sometimes visit the property, because room count or an estimated volume alone doesn't give an accurate enough picture.

You'll find more detail in our pricing guide. The goal is for the customer to understand what the price is based on before work starts, not just see a number.

Not all waste is the same

Customers usually just say “waste,” but in practice there are many different waste types, and they're not the same: furniture, mixed waste, construction waste, wood, bulky waste and appliances. Different waste types can have different handling requirements and costs, and that affects the final price.

We don't expect a customer to know waste categories. Our job is to work out as much of this as possible before the job starts, and explain, where needed, why handling and pricing can differ between waste types.

Our own waste-handling site

GOLOG's waste-handling site is at Silluse tn 1, Tallinn. This matters for our work, because it doesn't end the moment the van leaves a property: removed material still needs to be handled properly afterwards.

Regular, hands-on contact with the material that comes off job sites gives us a practical understanding of what waste actually comes up on jobs, how much space it takes, and how different handling costs affect a quote.

Working with people

Larger clearances usually sit behind a specific situation: an apartment before a sale, a move, a garage or basement left untouched for years, a housing association that needs a shared space cleared, or waste removal after a renovation.

Different customers need different things: one cares most about speed, another about a clear price, a third wants the whole job done by one company with as little hassle as possible. Before we start, we try to understand what the customer actually needs, not just which items need to leave the property.

Sometimes the right solution is the fastest possible clearance. Sometimes it means visiting the property before giving a quote.

Feedback is part of the process

We ask customers for feedback after completed jobs, and we also ask for a Google review. Google reviews give a new customer a way to see what other people's experience with us has been like.

When several customers ask the same question repeatedly, it usually means our explanation, our pricing description, or something on the website isn't clear enough. When part of the process causes confusion, we need to fix it. Feedback shapes how we explain our services, pricing and pre-job information going forward.

Where GOLOG is heading

We want to make the GOLOG service clearer and simpler in the years ahead. Our main directions are:

Clearer pricing

We want customers to understand, as well as possible, what affects the price and why different jobs can cost different amounts, before work starts.

Easier digital ordering

We want sending photos, video and job details to take as little of a customer's time as possible.

Better continuity for repeat customers

The goal is that a previous customer doesn't need to start from zero on the next job.

Customer account as a possible next step

One direction we're considering is a customer account where requests, quotes, job history and documents would sit in one place.

More recurring partnerships

We want to grow ongoing cooperation with housing associations, property managers, estate agents, renovation and moving companies, and other partners for whom clearing a property or removing waste is a recurring need.
